Column Template (igHierarchicalGrid)

Introduction

The Column Template feature of the igHierarchicalGrid™ enables you to assign a column template, which renders the column data in a specific way according to the specified template. Column templates can be applied on both the parent and the child layouts. The Column template feature uses the Infragistics® Template Engine, so the column template itself should follow the features supported by the engine. The benefit of the column template is the ability to assign individual templates to any column. It’s up to the developer if only one, a couple, or all of the columns will be templated, as well as if the column templates are applied on the parent and/or the child layout(s).
